Brad & Jackie’s
London Engagement Shoot
Brad & Jackie’s London engagement shoot started in Angel. They asked me to meet them outside a particular house that they used to live in. This place was where they first met and it holds a special place in both their hearts. They told me that many conversations were had on this rock in the middle of the green. Originally from the USA, the pair met over here about 3 years ago as they both had jobs in the city.
We then ventured to Camden Passage to get some natural walking shots with the pretty lights in the background.
After that, we decided to walk back towards the direction we’d come from to head to the canal. Jackie liked the look of the coloured doors on our walk so I made sure to snap them in front of them before heading to the Islington Visitor Moorings.
As you can see, there were a few outfit changes on this shoot. I loved the colours these guys changed into for these images as everything comes together. They look cohesive with the environment but still stand out and really pop.
We then ventured to Angel Tube station to head to the Millennium Bridge. Before this, Brad & Jackie wanted some shots outside & inside the station to document the area they’d lived in these past three years.
When we got off the tube at Bank, we ventured around looking for a phone box on our way to the bridge. We managed to find one in a nice quiet spot and the building behind really reminds me of Hogwarts Castle (which Jackie loved being a Harry Potter nerd like myself!)
After some giggles by the phone booth, we walked to Millennium Bridge. It was super busy (to be fair it was an overcast Saturday afternoon – what was I thinking?) but we made it work.
Did you see the little love heart lock on the railings? It was almost meant to be there for that shot.
Obviously I had to get some shots of the two of them in front of St Paul’s.
We had such a great shoot. I was with them for just under two hours which was a perfect amount of time to get all the locations in. London engagement shoots are so much fun – I love the unpredictability of the other people wondering around.
