London Personal Branding Photographer

Today, I’m going to be sharing a recent client session. This lovely lady is Kate! She’s a textile designer and illustrator based in South London. She also blogs, teaches and is a huge supporter of indie businesses.
Kate’s work has a mid-century feel and she’s inspired by architecture and bright colours.
I approached Kate telling her that I’d love to work with her. I felt we shared the same values of supporting small business owners and I was really drawn to her vibrant brand aesthetic. We set up a meeting to chat through all things photography and small business life. Then we got a date set for her session.
Once we’d got a date set, I sent Kate a questionnaire for her to fill out so I could then get started on her mood board. After this stage, I then asked her for a shot list of things she wanted me to capture. Before we knew it, her shoot rolled around and this is what we got up to!
Kate’s home was the perfect setting for her, it was bright, light and full of colour.
Once we’d got the indoor portraits we wanted, we moved upstairs to Kate’s studio to get some shots of her “in action”. I also photographed some details within Kate’s studio too.
After, I’d photographed Kate’s studio, we moved onto the lifestyle product shots. This style of imagery focusses on products but being used in day-to-day life scenario.
Kate also sells prints so she wanted to show her audience what she has to offer. When I had finished photographing the prints, we headed into the garden to take some final small business portraits.
Here is the link to Kate’s website if you want to have a look through all the different products and services she offers.
This is what Kate had to say about working with me…
